Little miracles

A Haven for Extraordinary Families

Nestled in Hartwell Way, Peterborough, Little Miracles is a vital charity supporting families with children who have additional needs, disabilities, or life-limiting conditions. Since its purpose-built centre opened in 2013—thanks to BBC’s DIY SOS and Children in Need—it has provided a safe, welcoming space for thousands of families.

At the heart of their work is:

  • A sensory room, soft play area, and therapy facilities
  • 1:1 support, counselling, respite care, and training
  • Inclusive activities and social groups—available even before diagnosis

Recent Highlights:

  • Solar Panels: Cutting energy costs by £15,000 annually
  • Volunteer-Led Makeover: Fresh murals, upgraded kitchen, and improved play spaces
  • Accessibility Advocacy: Helped inspire accessible facilities at IWM Duxford
  • Sensory Room Expansion: Funded by a £25,000 donation from the Morrisons Foundation

Little Miracles continues to grow, driven by passionate staff, volunteers, and supporters who believe every child deserves a place to thrive.

Little Miracles isn’t just a charity—it’s a community transforming lives every day.
